| Team Crappie tournaments will be held in conjunction with all the Bass tournaments listed. All dates are listed under the Bass tournament info link on the main page. 2010 Piedmont 'TEAM CRAPPIE' Tournament Information. ~~~ENTRY FEE: $50 per boat (Includes Big Fish Pot) ~~~FISHING HOURS: Blast-off 1 hour before posted sunrise. Anglers must be back at the ramp by 2pm and be in the weighin line by 2:20pm. ~~~POLE LIMIT: No more than 16 per boat in use at any one time and there is a 2 hook limit per pole. ~~~FISH LIMIT: 10 fish per boat at weighin. 1 dead fish is allowed with a 1/4 lb. penalty on that particular fish.. Once fish have been presented to the weighmaster, no fish may be added or deleted. Anyone bringing over 10 fish to the weighmaster will be disqualified. So count your fish!!! ~~~FISH SIZE LIMITS: 10" at Jordan (mouth closed-tail closed on the Golden Rule) and there is no size limit at Falls, Kerr & Shearon Harris.. ~~~BIG FISH POT: Only 1 big fish entry per team will be accepted at the scales. Have it ready to weigh 1st before your other 9 are weighed. ~~~This is a team tournament, however, one angler may enter as a team. Team may consist of no more than your boat is certified for by the USCG. Example: If your boat is rated for 5, you can have up to 5 anglers on your team. Entry fee covers the whole team. No spectators are allowed on the entered boat. No bank fishing is allowed. ~~~No fishing within 50 yards of any contestants ANCHORED boat without their permission. ~~~Teams my use rod & reel combos or poles without reels.. Live & artificial bait may be used. Fish must be caught in a conventional manner. Use of any other means will disqualify the team. Fish must be caught in the lip or mouth. ~~~Fishing is permitted anywhere on the lake being fished on tournament dates, but that area must be accessable by boat from the main body of the lake without leaving the water. Any area marked off limits by the lake officials cannot be fished. NO TRAILERING IS ALLOWED. ~~~The tournament director has the final say on all rules interpretations. All events are open to the public. Anglers must abide by all state & lake regulations and conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner. ~~~Any contestant who has failed to pass a polygraph before or whose condition does not permit the administration of a test because of his or hers use of alcohol or drugs (prescription or otherwise) will not be allowed to fish unless they notify Phil McCarson, tournament director, no less than 96 hours before the tournament date so an observer may be assigned to monitor those contestants. This cost of $100 will be paid by the contestant prior to fishing. The polygraph may be given. All contestants are subject to the polygraph and anyone refusing will be disqualified. ~~~OTHER: Violation of any of these rules may cause disqualification. Any protest must be submitted in writing within 10 minutes of the final weighin. Events will he held regardless of weather conditions. Use common sense if the weather gets bad. No refunds. Ties will be decided by a coin toss unless teams want to split the prize money. No cell phones or other communication devices may be used to help any team be directed to a fishing hot spot during tournament hours.
