| Boy, did we have a ball !! These kids are great ! Talk about some serious fishing kids..Wow ! 12 year old Thomas Clifton of Rolesville caught plenty of fish Carolina rigging, but only 3 were 16" or more. They weighed 6.94 lbs. total. That was enough to win a boat, motor & trailer worth over $2,000 in the tournament. 14 kids participated with 5 weighing in 16 inchers which was hard for even the adults to do this day. All the kids received trophies, door prizes, chicken & drinks! Lucas Lobaugh of Mebane was 2nd with 2 fish weighing 4.32 lbs. Gavin Collins of Raleigh was 3rd with 1 at 3.31 lbs. Chance Kerns of Burlington was 4th with 1 at 2.68 lbs. Bryce Lyons of Clayton was 5th with 1 at 2.63 lbs. Henry & Marie with Deep Creek Lures want to thank all the sponsors that helped this year. |
