| Piedmont Bass Classics Jordan Lake Open Results October 3rd, 2010...Jordan Lake...Farrington Point Wildlife Ramp Team Bass Results: It was low turnout for the anglers, but the bass sure showed up! 7 seasoned teams arrived to fish this beautiful crisp fall day. 30 nice bass were caught weighing a total of 79.16 pounds! A great catch for Jordan this time of year. Big fish was 4.88 and all the bass looked healthy. Air temps ranged from 48 to 68 with winds light to 15. Water temps were at 70 on average. Hots lures for the day were jigs fished in shallow to 6 foot of water. The water level at Jordan is now back to a little above normal pool and just right for fall fishing with that favorite spinnerbait or jig! Now here are the results.... 1st Place: Doug Farr & Brad Zeigler of Fayetteville & Sanford...5 fish...16.90 lbs...$560 Big Fish Award: First place team above...4.88 lbs...$70 TWT 1st Place: Billy Bledsoe & Henry Thompson of Fayetteville...15.45 lbs...$130 TWT 2nd Place: Todd & Jeff Sumner of Southern Pines...14.32 lbs...$70 Doug & Brad took a total of $630 home for their effort.
