| Piedmont Bass Classics & Team Crappie Results August 7, 2010...Falls Lake~Ledge Rock Wildlife Ramp Team Bass Division Results It was the coolest day in some time at Falls Lake this Saturday! Lows in the 70's with highs at 90 degrees. Nice day and a nice breeze! 16 teams jumped on Falls and Falls jumped right back at them! Even with the new size limits it only took 16.86 pounds of bass to win. Water temps were again in the 90's and the pattern for this time of year is just not the same as in the past. T & C rigs along with jig & pigs were the lures of choice. The crankbait bite is just not producing good numbers. 40 bass were weighed in for 115 pounds. The anglers, again, did a great job of keeping them alive too! Good job ya'll !! In this particular event, you can use any artificial lure you want to, but any soft plastic lures or trailers must be the DEEP CREEK LURES brand. The Henry's Kid's Project Youth Bass Tournament Fishing Trail Championship will also be held this same day. Only pre-qualified youth are eligible.
