| Piedmont Bass Classics Results August 21, 2010...Falls Lake~Ledge Rock Wildlife Ramp DEEP CREEK LURES SUMMER CHALLENGE Team Bass Division Results It was a beautiful day at Falls for the Deep Creek Lures Summer Challenge! Temps from 71 to 88 with lights winds. Water temps were in the mid to high 80's and the water level was about a foot and a half low. 32 teams dueled it out for the bonus 1st place prize of $1,000. 67 bass were brought to the scales and totalled 224 pounds. Hot bag for the day was the team of Ben Cannon and Ken Wall with 5 bass weighing 27.60 pounds! They blew the field away by almost 10 pounds! Great catch! From what I gather, the hot lures for the day were crankbaits and most fish were caught in the 6 to 8 foot range. The anglers, again, did a great job of keeping them alive too! Good job ya'll !!
